Selection — More options means more solutions, and Centro provides you with thousands of options. With over 30 companies in our collection, we have something for every room of the home. Our relationship with our vendors allows us to order any design they manufacture, even if we don't happen to have a particular design on our showroom floor. No other modern furniture store in the region offers this many premium companies under one roof. We receive monthly requests from vendors asking Centro to represent them in St. Louis. This puts us in the enviable position of being able to present you with only the best of the best.

Quality — One of our goals is to help our clients maximize their enjoyment of their homes while minimizing follow-up due to quality. To that end, Centro has hand-picked the highest quality companies, all of which adhere to stringent quality control procedures to ensure your purchase will provide a lifetime of hassle-free enjoyment.

Locally Owned — Centro has been locally owned since it's inception in 1988. When we opened to the public in 1998, we understood the importance of having an owner on the premises as often as possible. Your patronage is our livelihood, and we want to provide you with every reason to return to Centro, whether to make a purchase, ask for a restaurant recommendation, or to critique the latest public sculpture in our city. We live, work, and have invested in St. Louis. When you shop at Centro, 45 cents of every dollar spent stays in the community, as opposed to 15 cents for chains stores. Q: What are your requirements for placing a special order?

A: We require a 50% deposit at the time your order is placed. The balance is due when your order arrives at our store or warehouse and prior to final delivery.

Q: Which methods of payment do you accept?

A: While we appreciate payment via personal or corporate check (made payable to Centro), we also accept cash, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Q: How long will it take for my special order to arrive?

A: The delivery time depends on what you've ordered, and we strive to provide the most accurate estimation of arrival at the time you place your order. Orders which are fulfilled from a US warehouse normally arrive in St. Louis within 2 – 4 weeks after placement of your order. Items which are being "made-to-order" overseas normally arrive within 12 – 14 weeks. Of course, there are unforeseen circumstances which may affect our quoted lead time, including US customs clearance procedures, delays due to weather conditions at sea, and the like. Whenever we are made aware of a delay, we will contact you with the appropriate update.

Q: Will you deliver to my home or business?

A: We can arrange delivery to any location in the lower 48 states. Almost every manufacturer has different shipping guidelines, so please ask your Sales Associate to explain your options, and the pros, cons, and costs (if any) of each method based on the items you are purchasing.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Merchandise may be returned within 14 days for store credit or exchange only, and must be in original packaging and "like-new" condition. We do not accept returns on sale, "as is", or special order merchandise.

Q: Do you provide interior design services?

A: No. Stores that offer interior design services are really just limiting your choices to what they have available from their roster of manufacturers. Your interests are much better served by the hiring of an independent design professional whose mission it is to create your living environment, not just sell you furniture. We'd be happy to provide you with a list of local Interior Design professionals who have an appreciation for modern design. Of course, our experienced sales staff can provide one-on-one service, including a visit to your home or office, to discuss selections and assist in the final placement of your order.

Q: Do you work with Architects and Designers?

A: Yes. Centro's original mission in 1988 was to provide the architecture and design community in a four-state region with high-quality modern design. After opening to the public ten years later, we continue to invite design professionals to use the showroom and our resources to find solutions appropriate to their clients needs.

Q: Do you sell knock-offs?

A: No.

Q: Do I have to pay sales tax?

A: We are required by law to collect sales tax on shipments sent to addresses within the State of Missouri. Residents of other states are responsible for complying with their own sales tax regulations.

Q: Can I buy a Gift Certificate?

A: Absolutely. Gift certificates can be purchased in any denomination, and we'll mail them wherever you like.
