This form was originally designed for the 2006 exhibition, John Pawson - Leçons du Thoronet at the Le Thoronet Abbey, Provence. Pawson conceived the Bench as a single sculptural form, available in black terrazzo concrete in an edition of 100 and fumed oak in an edition of twenty-five. This work is number twenty-four from the edition of twenty-five, which sold out during the 2007 Salone Del Mobile.
